You usually need to take at least one modern foreign language at A LevelWhat a levels do i need to do a russian degree?
Okay, I'm slightly confused. Do you want to study BA Russian, as in Russian Linguistics. Or do you want to study in Russia, as in study a more general subject such as BA Politics in Russia.
For the first one, you will require a high grade in a Modern Foreign Language. I would suggest a program that looks something like this - English Literature/Language, French (because you're studying French now and aiming for a C), Archaeology (although it's not required, but if you like the sound of it, go for it) and either another foreign Language or take the Russian GCSE if your college won't allow you to take it alongside 4 A Levels.
As for studying in Russia, without complete fluency, your chances of passing are minimal unless the course is taught in English. Some schools might offer you a 16month language course though, which will get you up to speed. It'll be pretty intensive though, especially considering how Russian is so damn hard.
I hope this helps and good luck!
