Is there a good electronic translator Russian to English?

I am going to Russian and would like to be able to

communicate with those who only speak Russian



I am hoping to find an electronic translator which will

hear what we say, translate and then speak in the

other language. Or it could perhaps do just simple

phases and words and I could do my best

yep google "alta vista translation" its brill for other lanuages as well
