Tips on learning russian?

hello there i am 14 years old and have been doing russian for a year. i done russian once a week for a year, annd now i have started my GCSE's i do it 5 times a fortnight. i really enjoy russian and when i am older would like to be a russian translator. i was wondering if anyone has any tips on learning russian eg. any good books and sites. any help would be appreciated as i really would like to get an a* in russian.Tips on learning russian?
The best way is the actual practice. Make some Russian friends, and then text or email them as often as possible. This way the more you communicate, the better you will improve.Tips on learning russian?

I recommend you to watch movies or series dubbed in Russian. Like for example, if you liked "The Game of Thrones" or "The Simpsons", try watching in Russian those episodes you already watched. Since you already know the story, you won't get lost and you'll be learning Russian.
