But you should know that relatively few translators are hired by companies and institutions; most make use of freelancers. In other words, you'd be self-employed. Translator as a career?
hey guys. im thinking about being a russian translator for the UN as a career, so i was just wondering if there were other translators out there that could tell me a little about it. like the salary, the benefits, stuff like that. it would be greatly appreciated. =)Translator as a career?
